Ordering, Payment, Delivery and Returns

Purchasing items

You must be 18 or over to purchase from us.

Use the menu to the left of the screen to find the category of what you'd like. Click on the section you want to view. When you're in the section you'll see a view of all the products in that section. If you'd like to see a bigger picture, click on the small picture, if you want to see more information, click on the INFO button.

If you want to purchase the item, select what size you'd like, or the color etc, then press BUY. This will put the item into your shopping cart.

If you wish to continue shopping, just do exactly as before, or, if you want to buy the items in your basket, click on the CHECKOUT button.

You have the right under the Distance Selling Regulations to cancel your order within 7 days of placing it.

To keep our prices low we do not take orders by phone, this saves us having a call centre, and you the hassle of calling one. It means we can pass those savings directly to you!

Payment

All payments are made through PayPal or Google Checkout.

Both Google Checkout and PayPal take credit and debit cards, we offer a choice to make checkout easier for customers who use either system.

Your Security
All your orders are securely sent to our payment gateway provider using 128bit SSL secure encryption. This is the same encryption that banks use for online banking, so you can be assured your details are safe, just look for the padlock in your browser.

Does that mean I need a PayPal account?
No, you can use our payments system with PayPal without ever having to open a PayPal account, just use it like any other checkout system.

Does that mean I need a Google Checkout account?
Yes, but it does mean that you can then use your Google Checkout account to purcase more securely from other major websites as well as ours.

How do I know my details are secure?
rubbercatsuits.co.uk will never see your credit or debit card details if you purchase online, all we can see is that the transaction was successful. So your credit card number is never stored on our system. This makes it a lot more secure to hacking, as well as sending your order to the payment gateway by SSL secure encryption.

Tax

All our prices include any taxes applicable to the UK.

Delivery

Once we recieve your order, and your payment for the order, we will forward your request to our warehouse, products in stock should be sent out the same or next day, but please allow up to 6-8 weeks for delivery as the day you get your order will be dependant on stock levels and the postal service

Most items are usually made to order. This can mean a delay of 6-8weeks from ordering for rubber items as they are made to order, there may be extra delays depending on how busy we are.

The purchaser is liable for any import duty/taxes or any applicable sales tax/VAT when importing into your country of residence / delivery address. The purchaser is also liable for any products that are held in customs.

Returns

Can I change my order?
Generally no, but if you get back to us within 48 hours, we can probably change your order without any difficulties.

Can I cancel my order?
If you get back to us within 7 days of your order, yes. This is according to the UK distance selling regulations. You have a 7 day cooling off period.

Can I return my order?
If you have not worn the item, and it was not customised for you, yes if you contact us within 7 days of you receiving the item. If you had the item made to measure I'm afraid we cannot accept returns unless the item was obviously damaged in transit.

If your item is returned to us without you notifying us of your intent to return the product, we will charge you a 20% restocking fee taken from your refund. If you notify us of your intent to return the product within 7 days of your receipt of the product we will not charge you a restocking fee. Outside of the 7 day period you will be charged a 20% restocking fee from your refund.

If you refuse to pay any import/custom duty when you receive your item, it will be returned to us and we will charge you a 20% restocking fee taken from your refund. You must contact us within 7 days if you refuse a delivery, otherwise we may not be able to refund you properly.
